Title Fight-March 7, 2009
March 7th was a good day except for the fact that I let someone cut off all of my hair. Title Fight, Steel Nation, and Naysayer played a show at the Czar. I wanted to shoot with my Yashica T4, but I didn't have it yet, so I shot with a Kodak point and shoot camera, and the results were pretty chill. I was shooting with Ilford HP5 plus (one of my favorite films.) The show was awesome, tons of people came out. It was a good time. Here are some pictures.
Outside the Czar, chillin.
Before Title Fight's set outside the Czar.
Chillin outside the Czar, again.

These pictures are from Title Fight. I will add
more if anyone wants to see them.
The weather is starting to get warm. It's really nice besides the fact that I have a cold. It sucks, and so does Slaughterama. I went to it this past weekend, and I was miserable. It was fun to hangout with people. I decided to make a new "mid" year resolution. I am going to try to hangout at least a little bit every day. I haven't been hanging around with my friends much these days, so I figured I better start now. Well, that's all I got for you.

The past few months...
So, I decided to create a new blog I guess. This will mainly be a place for me to share my pictures with everyone and explain them a little more in detail than I can on my Flickr account. I have been cycling through cameras lately, I can't decide what camera I'm more infatuated with. For a while I had a Yashica MAT124G, a Yashica Electro 35GSN, a Yashica T4, a Yashica EZMatic, and a Kodak AF100 Point and Shoot. I basically sold off the collection and now I just have my MAT124G.
At first I was very skeptical. I didn't think I would like using the MAT124G. I mean, it's a cool camera from the 50's, but TLR style and waist-level view finder, I thought that was weird. In January, me and a couple of my freinds decided to follow the Down To Nothin, Swamp Thing, and Bad Seed tour. It was only a couple of days, but we hit Johnson City, TN, Birmingham, AL, and Atlanta, Ga. I had a great time, met a bunch of new people, and made some friends. I took my MAT124G with me to shoot some test rolls along the way. I was very impressed with the results I got. I was shooting with Kodak 120 TX400. Here are some pictures I took, enjoy!
This is Jamie in Atlanta, Ga.
A couple of friends eating dinner after a show
in Birmingham, AL.
This is a bit dark, but it's a few friends after
a show.
A few more friends in front of some weird
sculpture that we found in Atlanta, GA.
The same friends from the last
picture at a miniature Eiffel
Tower we found in Atlanta, GA.
This is a group photo I shot in Atlanta,
members of Swamp Thing and Bad
Seed.
All in all, I thought they turned out decently. I still have a lot to learn about this camera, but I'm pretty excited about the quality and results I've had so far.
I guess I'll just catch everyone up on my day to day. I'm still unemployed which sucks, I'm in debt pretty bad and that sucks. I have a job interview Friday at Aramark. It's a food services place, but I think I might skip it. They want me to work at the Philip Morris building on Broad St. and I don't think I can deal with that.
I was recently the star of a movie filmed by Alex (http://whereyoubeenalex.blogspot.com/). It's a modern classic called Stallion of the Year. You should all be able to check it out before too long.
After a 6 or 7 months of waiting, my car is finally fixed. It cost me an arm and leg (another reason I'm in debt.) It still has a few problems, there is mold in the back floor board (EW), It needs a new radiator, mine is leaky. And I will need a new exhaust system before too long. Mine is super loud and rattly, sounds so awful!
And last, but definitely not least, I am in a great relationship!
